The volunteer of the month for March is Evelyn!
Evelyn was nominated by Cade, who said, “She volunteers with a bunch of organizations and took care of a few adults with disabilities. Worked for years with 12 different organizations on Salt springs and since moving over to Nanaimo she works with 4, including the lions clubs, women helping women, Nanaimo pride and {100 women who care as well} and is still doing multiple newsletters for the lion society. She has been with the lion’s club for over 25 years in either here or Salt Spring. She is the kindest person I know and if anyone deserves a bit of recognition its 100% her.”
As a thank you for everything Evelyn does, Nanaimo Women Helping Women will be receiving a $100 donation and they will receive a $100 gift card to treat themselves from Hayley Poirier at Re/Max of Nanaimo.
