I know some people that tried to buy them on-line, but were shutout…they couldn’t even get on a wait list.
It may end up aging me, but I remember lining up for tickets the night before they went on sale.
My favourite story is when my buddy and I went into downtown Vancouver, to the main box office, to ensure we got tickets to see Huey Lewis and the News.
We stayed all night and were first through the door, and first at the counter.
We did get floor seats, but somehow only managed to get row 4.
With the crowd, I ended up in row 5 while my friend ended up in row 3 with a new girlfriend
I didn’t even get a t-shirt!
