Something I’ve always thought about has been taking a self-defense class, but it’s never been something that’s worked out for me to get into. Self-defense is so important for women to know, even if it’s just the basic moves. I mean, you always hope that you’re never in a situation where you’d need it, but it’s always better to be prepared for the worst than not.
Working out at 30 Minute Hit Nanaimo has really made me feel more confident, and has taught me real self-defense moves. Now I know how to punch, and kick, without hurting myself! Plus, the more that I go, the stronger I get, and the more effective those moves will be if I ever need them – I’m really hoping I never ever have to use them in real life. But if I do, I’ll be prepared.
It’s also really cool to be able to flex, and see muscles!
